Commercial Construction
An example of our commercial contracts is the works we carried out to St.AugustinesCollege in Margate, Kent.
We were employed as Main Contractor by Millwood Designer Homes Limited to convert over 2600 square feet of the former college into luxury serviced office suites. The project was particularly interesting as the college still has an operational Abbey and is used for weddings and functions on a daily basis which required sympathetic working patterns from ourselves.
Our contract parameters included: stripping existing finishes, raising floor levels, providing disabled toilet facilities, upgrading of existing toilet blocks, providing new kitchens and tea making stations, provision of new internal walls, new fire doors and signage, new drainage (internal and external), renovation of existing windows, re-plastering, renovation of existing parquet flooring, supply of new industrial floor coverings, new glazing and complete internal redecoration.
